Welcome to our Back To School Blog Hop with the Ginger Snap Scraps Design Team!

This weekend we will be featuring projects all about Back To School. Can you believe school has started!?
We hope you enjoy all of the great work this Design Team has done and find some inspiration.

If you just came from Cheryl then you are in the right place. If not please start at the beginning

For this month's project I decided to create an altered composition book. My boys love using these books for school and for fun. One of them has become the secret code holder for video games. LOL!

I went with a more mature theme on this one because I do have a High Schooler now! I can't make him anything lame...you know? ROFL!

Thankfully this Basic Grey Set "Oxford" was perfect for High Schoolers and even for College age.
I used both the Oxford Patterned Paper and the Chip Stickers to match. I also added some ribbon and buttons from my stash. You can purchase Basic Grey, Tim Holtz Distressing Ink in Brown, and the fun Twine (used on the buttons) at Ginger Snap Scraps.

I have never added a bookmarker to a composition book and thought it would be fun to do. I love it! The ribbon is discretely placed on the front cover and you can place it in between whatever pages you need saved.

I will be giving away some blog candy of my own!! YAY! It's a surprise Grab Bag of fun embellishments! So if you want to win leave a comment here and on my other blog hop
this weekend with Creative Kuts. I will draw one winner from all comments left. Oh and be sure you are my follower!! Leave your info so I can contact you. Good luck!
