Lasting Memories Challenge #481

Our theme for January is 'Out of Your Comfort Zone' and this month we want to challenge you to create layouts you may usually pass over as it may not be within your normal comfort zone.

LM #481 -  Only YOU!
* we tend to scrap about others and forget to take photos of ourselves, so this week we want a photo and layout featuring just you. Don't forget to journal too, so the page tells a story.

Most of my photos of me feature me doing what I love either cropping or traveling. Since my kids are older I take many selfies these days! LOL! So here is one of many for you today!

Head on over to Lasting Memories and get your entries in today!

Bitten By The Bug 2: TICK TOCK

Happy New Year Cricuteers!! Connie Can Crop here with my very first challenge for 2020 and as part of the BBTB2 Design Team.

I love New Year's! It makes me reflect on all the amazing things that happened to me the previous year and keeps me hopeful for better things in the year to come. I always watch the ball drop in Times Square (on TV of course) and Rudolph's Shiny New Year is one tradition I always watch on New Years Day. So my challenge only seemed appropriate to be all about time!

For this challenge Tick Tock, Use a clock or part of a clock on your Cricut project. Cricut has so many to choose from. Be sure to be on time and get your entries in before January 20th.

Our Design Team has some Timeless Inspiration for you all. Be sure to check their projects out on the blog Bitten by the Bug 2.

For this challenge I was inspired to create this timeless classic from Disney!
I just love Beauty and the Beast!

Lasting Memories Challenge #479

Our theme for January is 'Out of Your Comfort Zone' and this month we want to challenge you to create layouts you may usually pass over as it may not be within your normal comfort zone.

LM #479 - Use a new technique, tool or product.
* This is the perfect opportunity to pull out all of those "to do one day" inspiration screenshots we all have saved on the phone, computer or magazine. I tend to see something I really want to try, but easily get intimidated or too lazy to learn how to use that very expensive new tool/product I just bought, so it sits there unopened for years. Now is the time!

This was the perfect challenge for me as I have so many projects sitting around waiting for me to pull them out and try them.
I decided to pull out a very old SEI chipboard album kit. I didn't like the paper, it was masculine. I wanted to make this for a girl. So, I used a new paper pack I got at the Expo by Fancy Pants Designs called Joy Parade.
Here are just two pages of the album.
Head on over to Lasting Memories and get your entries in today!
A few more pages just for fun!!
