Today I have created this super fun Birthday Layout using Creative Kuts' file, Hap-Bee Birthday.

 

This was my very first Dt assignment for Creative Kuts and it was so easy to cut out using my Cricut with the Scal program. Be sure to visit Creative Kuts so you can see all the cute svg files and digital stamps they have in store for you!

Paper Hoarder Tuesday at Ginger Snap Scraps

Are you a paper hoarder? I most definitely am!! LOL! I love it and can never have enough. Kind of like me and clothes. I just love the different patterns and colors.

Well, today, Ginger Snap Scraps celebrationg Paper Hoarders everywhere. Our projects today use lots and lots of Patterned Paper. My project is a two page layout featuring me and my returning back to College in 2010. I Love the different Patterned Papers in the Crate Paper School Spirit Collection.

My Inspiration for this design came from a Close to My Heart layout shown in their catalog. I added Alphabet stickers from Love Elsie, a few buttons, and journaled on my computer. My stamped image "It's been too long" is located on the chipboard sticker over on the right side, center square. I thought it suited my layout perfect!

And of course most of the items I used came from Ginger Snap Scraps:

Creative Kuts Bap and Ustream Projects

Every week Creative Kuts offers up a free file for a BAP. What's a BAP? It's short for Build A Project.

This week we were given a step card file along with a tree and the fence.

Here is what I created using the given BAP files and adding in the Strawberry Bear minus the strawberries. I love this!

It's so amazing!

And here we have my little girl with her basket. This was from Cheryl at Creative Kuts' Ustream video on Thursday. She gave us some great tips! Not bad for my second cut ever!!

Having a blast, Traveling the world

OMG! We are having so much fun over at StorytellersClub! It's May Scrapping Days and we are traveling to a different country each and every day! Best part is it's FREE! LOL! Tim Holtz Day

It's Tim Holtz Day at Ginger Snap Scraps and today we are showcasing the new Tim Holtz Spring Seasonal Distressing Inks. Be sure to check out all the fun colors of Tim Holtz Distressing Inks at Ginger Snap Scraps.

For my project I created a cute Altered Composition Book for my 4 year old Neice. She loves to "write" and color and thought she would love something fun to write in.

I created this project using (of course) Tim Holtz Spring Seasonal Distressing Ink in Peacock Feathers to stamp her name and add some color around the edges. I also used the Hello Kitty Greetings Cricut Cartridge by Provo Craft the also new Echo Park Hello Summer 6x6 paper pad, and Zig 2 way pen. All these items can be found at Ginger Snaps Scraps.

Other items used for my project include Pink Pearls, Yellow Liquid Pearls, ribbon, cardstock and stickles in black.

Here is what I did I with my Treasure Chest!

I used a fun StorytellersClub Paper and created a great birthday chest that I  will be putting a hot wheel into. This was such an easy and fun project!

It's Feature Friday at Ginger Snap Scraps and my first Design Team post for the store. I am so excited to share in this adventure with my fellow DT sisters and can't wait to show the creations I make with all the awesome items available at Ginger Snap Scraps.

Today's Featured item is MY MINDS EYE.

I created a thank you card for a friend using MME's Blush 6x6 Paper Pad, Tim Holtz Distressing stickles, Bazzill cardstock, and Zig 2 way pen. All these items can be found at Ginger Snaps Scraps. 

 Other items used for my card include stuff from my stash: chipboard, bling, flower, brad, stamp sentiment inside, and burlap twine (courtesy of spiegelmomscraps).

Mothers Day Cards for a Cause
