Monthly Challenge #6 New Year

"Out with the Old in with the New"
Let's put 2012 behind us and start 2013 out with a bang!

Include on your project:
Something Old (from your stash)
Something New (from your stash)
and
add some embossing somewhere on your design (wet or dry)

Please create one layout, altered item or a card. Your layout can be single page or double page. You may use any other products you wish. Just be sure that those items are somewhere on your project. When you are finished with your project please post it here in this thread. Be sure to comment below as to what item is new and what item is old.
Sorry but only one entry per person, just to be fair!!

Entries are due by January 31st at 11:59 pm.
I will draw one lucky winner from all entries and they will receive a great prize

Our sponsor this month will be Honeybearz Designs.
Lisa has graciously donated a
Fall Fever Mini Theme Kit by Echo Park
contains six 12x12 double-sided papers and one 6 x 12 element sticker sheet
OMG this is adorable!

AND don't forget the winner gets
a custom blinkie for you to display on your own blog!! YAY!

You need to link your project up below using Mr. Linky and include a link to your post where you are displaying it. You have until midnight January 31st to link it up.
I will draw one random winner. My winner will not be based on skill or talent, but based on just completeing the challenge. Sorry but I can not ship to other countries. I would still love for you to play. However if you win, I will ask that you pay postage for the shipping charges.

Good luck and can't wait to see your creations!

Oh and I am hosting a New Year's Blog Hop Saturday January 5th!!
You won't want to miss this!!

  1. Hi connie,
Thanks for the great challenges! I uploaded a card that uses old cardstock and a strip of really really old patterned paper, and a new stamp set that I heat embossed.
