It's Connie here today to share my DT project for Cardz TV!

Today is the start of a new Cardz TV's Anything Goes Challenge and I am sharing Pretty Card I made using products I had at home along with my Cardz TV stamps!!

 I used Mary's stamp set called Favorite Phrases. I just love all fun sayings on this cute set!! It is perfect for any occasion!

This card also uses inks from CTMH and a great little kit I purchased from Tuesday Morning. Perfect for this sweet card!

Hap"Bee" Birthday- Kitty Bee DT

Hello my crafty friends!

It's Connie here today to share a sweet card using one of Kitty Bee's digital images. This little bee just makes me so happy! It's adorable!!

I just love this color scheme of black and yellow with gray and all the fun embellies I added to this cute digital image! I think m favorite embellishment is the side bow out of tulle. I just love the look! This happy bee went off to wish my niece a Hap"BEE" Birthday!!

For my project I created this cute shaker card...

The theme of this challenge was perfect for the extra parts I had laying around from this kit...forever just sitting in a bin.
It also allowed me to use up one of my foam shaker frames that I have had for a year! Yikes!

DT Day With Miss Kate's Cutables

Hi, Sue from Sue's Paper Crafts  here with you today, it is my day to show off what I have created with a file from this month's sponsor, Miss Kate's Cutables.

I used the Forever Yours file to create this layout of my son's U.S. wedding (they had 2 ceremonies, one in his hometown in Michigan, one in her hometown in Japan) here is the happy couple.

This is a 12 x 12 layout, I printed the picture to be 5 x 7. I didn't resize any of the elements, I just cut them out without editing them in any way. I added some bling just because I love bling and like the way it looked. It is hard to see the tiny flowers on the paper I used to cut the flowers out of but I used paper the kids had brought me from Japan. The colors I used for this layout were colors that Miki had requested for the wedding decorations, flowers, etc.

Kitty Bee DT Call

As most of you know I am a Kitty Bee DT Member and I love it! Kel's digi stamps are so cute! I just wanted to share that she is having a DT call. Maybe this is something you'd like to check out...

This is a minimum 4-month commitment beginning May 2017.  You are, however, welcome to jump in as soon as you are ready.  We are a VERY laid back team and know you will have a lot of fun with us and feel very welcomed by our fellow DT members!  

Our challenges post every other Friday and run for a full 2 weeks.  The in-between Friday is a mid-inspiration post day.  

Requirements:

o     Create 2 projects a month:

•      1 challenge project following the challenge theme to be shared on the Challenge blog.  This project needs to be uploaded to our private DT blog (2) days before your assigned post (challenge or mid-inspiration) goes live.  Our challenges run every 2 weeks so there may be a month where you will be required to create 2 projects. 

•      1 spotlight project showcasing an image from Kitty Bee Designs per month to be showcased on the KBD blog.  You will schedule your own spotlight project on the KBD blog, so have a bit more flexibility with the timing of this one, as long as you post it in the AM of your posting day.  The only requirement for this project is to use a KBD image.  Other than that, anything goes.

o   Participate in new-release parties/blog hops for Kitty Bee Designs when applicable.

o    Have a Facebook account (this is where our DT chats and where I post our files and sponsor images).

o    Have a personal blog to post about each new challenge/mid-challenge inspiration, and link back to the Aloha Friday Challenges. 

o    Post your DT badge on your blog’s sidebar.

o    Comment on your assigned numbers. (no more than 2)
o   Vote on the DT top picks at the end of each challenge. (every 2 weeks)

o    Promote Kitty Bee Designs wherever you can!  Social media encouraged but not required.

Benefits:

o     You will be provided with a wide range of images from KBD and other sponsors to work with and use not only for our challenges, but on projects for yourself and other challenges.

o     Your name and blog link will be displayed on the Kitty Bee Blog.

2.   Your blog address plus any social media links you'd like to share and/or use regularly.

This month I decided to create some easy but adorable treats to pass out for St. Patrick's Day! Miss Kate Cuttables has so many cute St. Patty Day images it was hard to choose but I ultimately came up with this cutie!

I added some googly eyes and adhered a dum dum on the backs with a glue dot. These treats are ready to be shared with my crafty friends at the St. Patty's Day crop!

Question Of The Week

Here is today's question!!

-What is the farthest you have ever driven for a single scrapbook event, crop, getaway, etc.?

Shannon- I go to two retreats and one expo a year. The retreats and the expo are both 2 hours away. One is north and one is south so I get the best of both worlds.

 Kim- I don't "do" getaways and I've only been to one crop in all the years I've been crafting. The only event would be the Scrapbook Expo once a year about 45 minutes away. Guess you could say I'm not a well-traveled crafter.

Sue- When I lived in Michigan I was only about 15 - 20 miles from the place where they have the Great Lakes Mega Meet every year which I attended twice. I worked right down the street from the venue so the night I did the Round Robin of classes I worked most of the day then had a quick dinner and off to the event. I have never been to a crop (I always wonder why anyone would pack up all of ther stuff to haul elsewhere) and I don't think I have ever been close to any kind of giveaway.

Veronica- The farthest I have travelled is to Grapevine, close to Dallas, TX, to attend the Scrapbook expo. A friend of mine and I took the charter bus from a local scrapbooking store, 30min from San Antonio. It was a crazy trip. They leave at 5am and returns to the store close midnight... so much fun, with tons of giveaways during the trip and it included the entrance fees. We are repeating the experience April first, wit more friends. Really looking forward to it.  The roundtrip is close 500 miles...

Angela- Have never gone to a retreat/getaway or crop. I've been to 2 expos, one was 45 min and the other 1.5 hrs.

Marji- About 2 hours, I'm in Central Florida and a group of friends and I went to Tampa/St. Pete. for a great convention. I usually just go about an hour away to the Orlando show.

Connie- I have driven 3 hours to an event but I have flown through several states to get to one! I love attending crops and retreats!

Wow!! Connie and Veronica are the winners!! LOL!! That is commitment!!

We are in the middle of March, and so many of you have suffered that awful winter storm! I'm so happy we decided to make the move to the sunshine state! My mom had just over 2 feet dumped at her house! YUCK! So, if you are those "lucky" ones (some people do really love it! I know....I just cant see why!?
