Music is Life Blog Hop

Welcome to the Music is Life Blog Hop

We sang our ABC's as children loud and off key!
We rocked out in our bedrooms with our friends to our favorite tunes.
We slow danced awkwardly to that memorable ballet with the boy we crushed on. We walked down the isle in to the wedding march as we married the man of our dreams. We sang a sweet lullaby to our babies as we rocked them to sleep. We sing our favorite songs as we drive the kids to school, annoying them the whole way! Yes, music is Life! It's everywhere in our lives!
Join us as we celebrate the wonderful Life of Music!!

Connie Can Crop (that's me!) is our Drum Major in this Music is Life Blog Hop.
This is a one day blog hop and I appreciate your leaving a comment for all of these fantastic ladies who are here sharing their Musical themed ideas and creations.

Our instruments have all been tuned...time for the show to begin!

I am super excited to share with you a layout of my oldest son when he was in band in 7th grade. (He's now a Senior!) I have been carrying the photos and paper for this layout to every crop for the past 2 years trying to figure out how to create my layout. So it is refreshing to have finished it! I hope you enjoy it too.

My boys are very involved in music and for that I am glad. My oldest plays percussion, sings in choir and now plays the cello. My youngest play the trombone and now the bass. Music is a huge part of our lives! Now and for many years to come!

Supplies Used:
Cardstock
Washi tape
Black pen
Black sequin
Paper and diecuts from Carolee's Creations
Black music notes cut with Cricut Explore

 Up next is Melinda

Here is our complete line up in case you get lost along the way:

  8. Hey Connie thanks for the invite! Love your layout. The papers you used given it a very rich feel, like how your placement really moves your eyes around the pages. You've always been really good at that. The notes are a perfect accent.

  11. Awesome layout! As a band mom too I totally get it. There's always so many pictures from all the events and so many of them look alike that it's hard to make new and creative layouts. Thanks for organizing the hop.
