Hello fellow croppers and friends. Connie Can Crop here to share my love of Kiwi Lane products with you all. I hope I can inspire you to create fun projects using the templates we all love so much.
Today I am sharing a double page layout of me and my two sons taken on Mother's Day 2012.
I am so happy I was able to work with the Truly Scrumptious Collection from The Paper Loft. I never get to create pretty pink layouts having two boys. And the Mother quotes were perfect for these photos. It was like they were made to go together.
I incorporated the arrow (Adventure 4) on to both pages of my layout. I love how it appears to be pointing to me, like I am the star of the layout. You will notice a few other KiwiLane templates being used as well. For my borders I used Sunnybrook Lane 2B, Large Bracket 1, and Scallop 2A/2B. I simply switched the placement from top to bottom on each side of the layout. Love how it turned out.
I used my Stampin' Up photo Corner Punch to add some fun to the corners of my pics. Also added some silk flowers and pretty pearls to the layout for some dimension. I always ink my KiwiLane cutouts. Here I used Gingerbread Versa Dew Drops Chalk Ink. The brown really helps the different patterns stand out from one another. My favorite way to add dimension to my KiwiLane layouts is to add Pop dots on some of my layers and embellishments. It really creates a stunning layout.
I can't thank you enough for checking out my project. It means the world to me and I hope you truly enjoyed it. May it inspire you to create something wonderful! Scrappy Hugs!

Now onto my project!
I had so much fun creating this super cute Christmas Layout! It is not your normal traditional type of Christmas activity, LOL. In 2010 my mother and one of my sisters decided to move to Colorado. That left just me and my youngest sister here in Southern California. We were pretty sad about celebrating the holidays alone so we decided to do something totally different for our Christmas Eve gathering. We went to play mini golf and ride some kiddie rides and had our Christmas Eve dinner at Denny's. It turned out to be a lot of fun. Our kids definitely agreed!
This Svg file from Miss Kate's Cuttables was perfect for these photos. Not too traditional, just like our evening. And full of Family fun!
This Martha Stewart Paper Pack ties this layout all together using (of course) my amazing Kiwi Lane Designs Templates. I used Cascade Trails 1A, Chestnut Drive 1A, 2B, and 3B.
A few journaling strips and some brown ink and I think it's perfect. What do you think?

This tag is made with lots of Prima goodies. But what I really love is the gorgeous Simply Gray Sheer Ribbon from LoveBug Creations that I topped it off with.

This past weekend I attended the most amazing classes at Let's Get Creative
taught by Suzy West. They were held at the Prima Outlet in Chino, California. I
learned some (new to me) techniques and created some gorgeous layouts. And today I would like to feature two of these amazing creations!!
This is a photo of me and my boys at the beach in San Clemente this summer. I love the ocean and am glad my kids do too. I can't keep them out of the water.
I just love the way we used corrugated cardboard box for the photo mat. And the way we framed it is just gorgeous. There are so many lovely details to look at!
My surfer boys. Well not really! But they do Boogie Board. More pics of them from our trip to San Clemente this summer.
These layouts feature gorgeous Prima flowers and the new "SEA SHORE" paper line
and chipboard diecuts by Prima. This paper is gorgeous!!!
I am so glad I was able to share these with you!
I am so excited to share with you this fabulous Sea Inspired layout. Probably the most detailed layout I have ever created.
This past weekend I attended the most amazing classes at Let's Get Creative taught by Suzy West. They were held at the Prima Outlet in Chino, California. I learned some (new to me) techniques and created some gorgeous layouts. One of my layouts included a tag that allowed me to incorporate some yummy LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon.
Lots of distressing, both in inking and tearing. I love the added pop of teal the chipboard elements and the Jaded Rumple Ribbon add to this layout.
Of course the layout features gorgeous Prima flowers and the new "SEA SHORE" paper line and chipboard diecuts by Prima. This paper is gorgeous!!!
And gorgeous canvas and lace. This is also the first time I ever incorporated actual rocks on a layout.
Just love it! This is a favorite for sure!
Be sure to come on back Saturday to see the other two layouts I created at this fun event. They will be featured in my Down by the Seashore Blog Hop.

I received this basic layout as a kit a few months ago at the Scrapbook Expo in Orange County but never put it together. I finally decided now was the time!
I thought the basis of this layout was just ho hum so I livened it up with some bright orange Mama's Mesh running along the border. It matches the bright orange title perfectly! I also added some fun sequins to add some bling. Now I just need to find the perfect photos and I am set.

This is my very first post as a Design Team Member for Kiwi Lane Designs. I am so excited to share my love of Kiwi Lane products with you all. I hope I can inspire you to create fun projects using the templates we all love so much.
Today I would love to share with you a simple but sweet layout of my youngest son and our family dog. They are such good friends. It's quite endearing!
The first thing I did was decide what papers and embellishments I would like to use for my layout. For me this is sometimes the hardest part. Then, comes the fun. Deciding which Kiwi Lane templates to use. I go through my collection and pick out a few I think will look great together and start to arrange them around my photos to see if I like the arrangment.
When I have something I like I start tracing, cutting, and inking. The great thing about using Kiwi Lane Designer Templates is you can change your mind easily. If you decide you don't like the way it is turning out you can change it.
Adding embellishments adds more fun to your layouts and brings the Kiwi templates to life!
Here I used some buttons and flowers to give my layout some flair.
Be sure to ink the edges of your paper too. It really changes the entire outlook of your layers. I used a CTMH chocolate Ink on my layout.
For my borders I used 4 different Kiwi Lane Designer Tempates: Chevrons 1A and 1B, Chestnut Drive 1A and 1B, as well as Wacky 1T and Adventure 6.
My tag was created using Tag 3 as a base. But I altered it by trimming the top and the sides to make it fit my space better. I also added some LoveBug Creations Rumple Ribbon to the stick pin holding it in place and used CTMH stamps. All in all I'd say this turned out GREAT!
I can't thank you enough for checking out my project. It means the world to me
and I hope you truly enjoyed it. May it inspire you to create something
wonderful! Scrappy Hugs!
