Hello everyone! It's Kim from Katydid Cards and I'm happy to be here with you today.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at Connie Can Crop...at least today! I'm bringing you a card (although it could also be used as a decoration) using a cut file from this month's sponsor, CraftsUPrint. I'm a big fan of CraftsUPrint for a number of reasons. Not least among them are freebies, discounts and a chance to win prizes.
But lets get to the card, shall we; because I just can't wait any longer to share it with you!
This Accordion Christmas Wreath card was made with a cut file by Tina Fallon, one of the many talented designers at CUP (and one of my personal favorites along with Rae Carr and Tina Fitch). On this card I used the same color scheme as Tina's sample, but I want to make another with a red border....I think that'll really set off the wreaths.
Here's another view from the side, so you can see how the card folds; the wreaths folding in the opposite direction of the card base.
I made another version of a Tina Fallon Accordion card last year and it was a real hit. Here's a link to that card on my blog just in case you'd like to see it.
So that's the card, but there's a lot of excitement coming up here at Connie Can Crop of which I want to make you aware. First, we have the Silly Old Bear Blog Hop coming up this weekend!
This hop should be a lot of fun and, if you hop and comment, you are entered for a chance to win a fabulous prize from our sponsor. And then...
We also have a monthly challenge and you can make any project using the sketch as a jumping off point. You have until August 31st at 11:59 pm PST. Here's the sketch and here's some inspiration from the design team using CraftsUPrints files.
Already looking forward to the next time I get to share a project with you!
