Guest Designer ~ Sandy Suarez

Hi, I'm Sandy Suarez and I am so excited to be this month's Guest Designer for Connie Can Crop.  I have 4 sons and have been married for 27 years.  I work full time, and enjoy scrapbooking, making cards, homemade decorations and other various crafts on my spare time.  When you get a chance, please stop by my blog at Simply Crafty Creations by Sandy S.

The sponsor for this month's challenge is Bugaboo Digi Stamps

Using the below challenge/color palette

I made a welcome sign for the holidays with Bugaboo's "Bygfallfence Fall Fence" digi stamp.  I printed the digi stamp large enough for my frame, used alcohol ink markers to color it and added the word "Welcome" cut with my Cricut Explore and also framed the digi stamp with the same turquoise cardstock.

Added a little shine with a Gelly Roll shimmer pen.

Well, I must say, I think it turned out pretty cute.  Something I can take out every year for the fall season.

Thanks for visiting!

Hello!  Christi here from Scrapping For Tranquility, this months Guest DT.  I am VERY honored Connie is having me back again.  I want to thank you for joining me here at Connie Can Crop this month for this months Challenge of:

Our sponsor this month for To Die For is :

What a great sponsor huh???

I want to share with you what I made from dreaming tree with my die cuts:

The Chilling Chandelier by Dreaming Tree.
This was sooo fun to make!

It has bats around the top with vellum windows around it which I put battery operated lights inside to light it up.

It then has a large spider and bats that hang from it.

I used glittered paper for the bats and spider .

You can make them any colors you want but I made mine Purple , Black and Green.  My daughter was married on Halloween and these were her wedding colors.

Halloween is her favorite holiday .

I wanted to make her something special to hang in her house for the holiday.

She loved it!

Thank you for joining me and hope you enjoyed my project.

Blessings,

NANA CONNIE
So excited to have the very talented Connie joining us this month!
Here's some info from our wonderful guest dt
Hi!  I'm NanaConnie and I have the honor of being a Guest Designer for Connie Can Crop this month.  My own blog is "Grammy's Attic" and I'd love to have you visit.  I'm a Nana to 6, a Great-Nana to 2, and have been a crafter for most of my long life.

Our sponsor for this challenge is Treasure Box and they have some really marvelous digital stamps, papers, and cutting files.  I chose to use this darling little kitten from the "Digi Pound Pals One" set of images.  From the look on his face, I just knew that he was feeling alone and left behind when his human kids went back to school and didn't take him along.

This card took off in an unplanned direction while I was working on it.  Ever have that happen to you?  I got it all colored, cut it with a simple rectangle die, and then looked at bits and pieces which were on my desk, left over from a previous project.  Because the golden yellow seemed to fit right in with his calico colors, I added the die cuts, framed out the printed sentiment, and added the corner triangle.  Voila'!  The card layout was done and all it needed was a bit of ribbon for a bow.

Enjoy, and come play with us this month, won't you?  NanaConnie
And here is her gorgeous card

So excited to have my talented friend Georgiana back again and joining us this month!

Hello Crafty Friends, Happy Monday! This is Georgiana from Carson's Creations and I am super thrilled to be Guest Designer this month at Connie Can Crop. What a fabulous opportunity to share with others. The challenge...Use Your Stash. Perfect! I have plenty of crafty supplies that need to be used. Here is My Guest Designer project... I created a matching tag and card for my one of my very good teacher friends that has been my walking buddy all summer. We meet almost every day at 6:15am and walk for one hour (which is about 3.6 miles). We talk about anything and everything. Lately we have been on a healthy food kick, so I bought her a salad cookbook, which will go with this set.
First, I started with the tag. The base and sentiment is by Jaded Blossom and then I stamped all fab flowers by Lawn Fawn. The 3 Girl JAM ribbon was in a plastic container in the closet and I was glad to be able to use it with these purple flowers.
I created the card next. I decided to use the scallop rectangle mat and then I used my Cuttlebug to die cut the embroidered thanks into the cream card stock. Instead of embroidery floss, I used purple craft thread since I have a bunch in my stash. I did watch a video to make sure I was sewing in the correct direction.
The stamped sentiment is by Jaded Blossom ~ Encouragement stamp set.
Thanks Connie for allowing me to be your Guest Designer. Looking forward to next time. Stay Creative, Georgiana

I pulled the butterfly and the colors pink & yellow from the image! My butterfly is from Everyday Pop-Up Cards Cricut Cartridge. I added some stickles, ribbon and sentiment to my card. You can't really tell in the pic but I folded the wings up just a bit. This was my Mom's Mother's Day Card.

Almost everything on this card is recycled!! Lace flower I made from old lace. Other flower I found in the house we just moved into. It was a pin. Of course the card board is from a discarded box.
The paper swirls are from a die cut that messed up. I cut the good parts off and used them. The silver button and leaf was also found here. The butterfly was a trial die cut. I added some ink with sponge to make  it look old. The little glass bottle came from dollar store with nail glitter in it. I put tiny gemstone chips in it.

I hope you enjoy my card! Recyclables are everywhere, you just have to look!!

So excited to have our dear friend and follower from Spain as a special guest designer this month!!

I used white and red cardstocks under a mixed media background made with gesso and acrylic paint. On it, I did the sketch with washi tape and printed the others forms of the set "Heart flourished" on vellum paper, creating another background. The main flowery heart is cut into textured red cardboard. The sentiment is stamped with Stazon Black Sherry. And finally I used a ribbon of tassels.

SO excited to have my long time friend designing for us today!!

I am Holli from Sunflowerholli.blogspot.com.
I had the wonderful opportunity to attend a Fun Stampers Journey Event in MN.
I made the Be Amazing card at the event. The heart stamp is a background stamp and was used on totally teal paper with totally ink. We used a blender tool and ink to create the cool water color effect.
The ink was the FSJ black licorice with black embossing power. The valentines card is made with the FSJ monthly Bloom Box. These are special stamps for only Bloom Box subscribers.
I used an embossed heart paper and Black Licorice ink. Everything came in a kit.
