25 Days of Christmas Day 7

Welcome to Erica's Craft Room
25 Days of Christmas,
with 25 Cricut projects a day.
Don't forget to stop by Erica's blog to see 24 more projects today....
and every day in December.

Here is my project....

This will be such a great gift for my son's teacher. I bought a small Mason jar and decorated the lid with patterned paper and then sealed it with Hodge Podge. I then added the bow and the ribbon. Using the Cricut Cartridge Winter Woodland I cut the mittens and hat at 3". After glueing the pieces, I then used some glue and my ebossing powder to bring life to the snowflakes. On the back of the mittens we can write the to and from. Filled the jar with Sea Salt Bath Soak and there you go!! Relaxation for a great teacher.

I used Jolly Holidays to cut out the cute lil' sledding snowman and also used the CM Tis the Season Cart to cut out the scalloped circle (Use the monogram feature blackout). I added some stickles to the snowman's hat and added some sparkly snowflake brads. The white strip of paper is actually folded like a paper ribbon...sorry, I know it is hard to see. I also made a matching photo cube for this card to sit on. I think it is cute.  The paper is from Creative Memories and the cardstock is bazzill. Thanks for stopping by.

Here is my project....

I used the fabulous CM Tis the Season Cartridge for the Christmas Tree, Christmas Lights and title. And used Jolly Holidays (one of my favs) for the Banner. I plan on adding numbers in the banner documenting what year of Christmas this layout is for, when I figure out which year I will use it for. LOL...  (here's a tip.... the cords for the Lights are actually from the mitten image. I welded a few together and it worked perfect for the cords.) Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to follow me for more Christmas fun.

Only 2 more days

Only 2 more days to get your entries in for the Storytellers Club October Challenges.
Thought I would share 2 of mine. This first one os for the make it pop challenge. I cut out the circular designs from an additional sheet of paper and added pop dots to them to add dimension.
This next challenge was to use a Storytellers Club kit and include some "fussy cutting" in honor of carving jack-o-lanterns. So I cut the blue wavey circles at the bottom and tucked my photos underneath for a fun water play page. Thanks for looking and don't forget to leave some love, please.

October's Kit Happy Haunting

My inspiration for this kit comes from another kit I bought at the Expo about 5 years ago. I adore this little Frankenstein. He is adorable and so is the title. I love my Happy Hauntings Cartridge so much. Definitely got my money's worth with this cart.

Halloween Fun with Cricut and Glimmermist

3 foot Skeleton cut with October 31st
Frames cut with Happy Hauntings

And here is a tag make n take I taught at my croptoberfest. We used Tim Holtz stamps and glimmermist. I cut a spider web with the cricut to use as a mask with the glimmermist and then we stamped and embossed the spider.

Easter Time Layout

Yes I know...It is October. LOL. But hey I am finally scrapping Easter 2010. This layout was created for a challenge over at Storytellers Club. I am kind of sad because this is the last egg hunt my boys wanted to participate in. They grow up way to fast.
