Here's my colorful creation! when I heard cactus I knew I wanted to use my Arizona photo but I had no cactus to create a layout with so I decided to create a digital layout. I purchased this amazing kit off of etsy. We were on our way to move Sherry to Texas and made it to Arizona. Not the best photo but New Mexico and Texas were in the pitch black...LOL!

 In Canada, July 1st is our nation's birthday. To celebrate that create a Red & White layout.

My baby boy is Graduating high school tomorrow!!! Sigh! I can't believe it! I am so proud of the man he has become!

I love sending out Christmas cards! Some of my crafty friends get handmade special cards from me and some of my close friends and family get photo postcard type Christmas cards. And well some get both cause I can't decide which category they fall under! LOL!

I was a little nervous at first to try scrapbooking this way, but I'm definitely getting the hang of it! & may just in fact start my boys albums again! My sister in law just had a baby this past Friday so I stole some pics from FB and put together a little layout for her!

Welcome to Throwback Thursdays!

A new kind of fun on my blog where you get to see projects I have created in my early days of scrapbooking. Some of these projects may surprise you! (Because we all start somewhere!) LOL!

So without further ado...I would like to start with one of my first layouts ever uploaded on my blog.
This was originally posted January 4, 2009.

 

Now I am a paper scrapper for the most part. And I know what you are thinking...that this layout is pretty nice for a first posting. Well yes it is, but not because of me. LOL! This was created using a digital kit from StorytellersClub's Digital Express Site. Their digital kits make layouts so easy to create!

Hope you enjoyed this quick flashback! Stay tuned next week where I go really retro!! LOL!

Digital Makes my Heart Sing

Sometimes you just need to do a digital layout. Especially like now, when you are recovery from an accident and need to sit in bed all day. This layout is a digital layout using the Dream Big Digi Kit at Storytellersclub. It's also my entry for my January Recipe Challenge on Storytellersclub's discussion boards. As most of you know I recently had a major accident and this layout is my way of reminding me that I am lucky to be alive and there is hope. Someday I will be back to myself, my normal happy, healthy, hopeful, self. Thanks for looking.
