Santa Spoon

Hello Crafty friends!!
What could be better than Santa on a Spoon? LOL!
Well you don't actually eat him, but you hang him on your tree.

I found the idea on pinterest and knew I needed to make him! SO glad I did! I just love Santa Claus and collect them for my tree and he is just the perfect new addition!

Guest DT at Die Cuttin Divas

Hello my crafty friends!!

I am so excited to share that I am guest designing for Die Cuttin Divas this week! Every week they host a fun new challenge that incorporates die cuts!

This week is anything goes! How fun!

And here is my fun creation! It's a chip bag full of goodies for my swap partner!

SO where are my die cuts?...Well I used CTMH stamps with Dies for the little monsters, A circle die for my window, and Rectangle nesting dies for my header tag.

Remember...You have one week to plan, create, and submit your project. Please remember to include which die-cut you used and a link back to Die Cuttin Divas.

Happy Halloween!

Coffee, Crafting and Cats

Hello crafty friends!!

It's Connie Can Crop here and my day to post with  Miss Kate Cuttables!

But first, did you know that Miss Kate Cuttables gives away a free file every day?
YES, absolutely FREE. So what are you waiting for, head over there and get your free file now!!

I have been on the hunt for a cute desk sign for weeks. Finally I gave up and decided to create my own and I am so glad I did because I am loving this so much!

I painted the wooden sign with acrylic paint. Then I cut all my pieces out of vinyl. After I adhered my vinyl, I sealed everything with Modge Podge Glossy Spray. Then added some Rhinestones.

I can't thank you enough for checking out my project. It means the world to me and I hope you truly enjoyed it. May it inspire you to create something wonderful!   Scrappy Hugs!

Generations of Love Blog Hop

No automatic alt text available.

This is a blog hop featuring projects inspired by our family tree and our Grandparents in honor of National Grandparents Day.
National Grandparents Day is Sunday, September 9th.

This is a weekend hop, but you have until Monday at midnight to finish hopping.
Lorby's World is the blog to start at and she is offering a special prize to one lucky person. All you have to do is hop through all the participants in the blog hop and leave a comment on each of the their blogs. Lorby's World will pick a winner to be announced on Wednesday, September 12th.

Welcome! You should have come from Sandy Lopez Suarez Simply Crafty Creations by Sandy S.

Today I created a gorgeous family tree for myself! This was a kit I have had for years!!
The tree is actually pressed wood and I painted it and covered it with paper then screwed in the hardware and hung my photos. The photos are also on pressed wood frames.
It was a time consuming project but so worth it!
I added my boys at the top, then My husband and I below them, with each of our parents below us. So it's kind of a reversed family tree! But I love it!

I also created a layout featuring an SVG file from Miss Kate Cuttables along with some diecuts and paper from an older company Storytellers Club (remember them?). I also incorporated some chipboard embellishments from BoBunny.
Everything came together beautifully!

My family photos are going to look amazing on this layout!!

A dear friend of mine is battling cancer right now. I made dinner for her family one night and wanted to include a little pick me up for her to have. Miss Kate Cuttables had the perfect file for me to use on this cup for her.

If you don't mind, please take a moment to pray for all of those in our world who are fighting this horrible disease. Thank you!

Miss Kate Cuttables May Challenge

It's time for a new challenge over on the Miss Kate's Facebook Group.
May's Challenge is ANYTHING GOES
Create any project you want as long as you use a Miss Kate File on it!

The requirements for the challenge is to follow the theme of the month and use a Miss Kate Cuttables' file in your creation, including any/all freebies you have.
Challenge link ups start tomorrow, Tuesday!!!

I recently broke a glass of my patient when I was working in his home. I felt really bad and told him I would bring him a new one. I asked him if he could have a glass with anything on it what that would be. He said he loved the Angels Baseball Team here in So Cal. So I used this fun Baseball file to create the first side of his custom glass. And added the Angels logo on the other side in vinyl. He LOVED it!!

I attended a Valentine's themed crop last week and we had a "sisterly love" swap. We could swap anything we wanted to so I had fun coming up with this cute idea for my crafting sisters!!

Totally adorable- right? I figured the girls can use the different items to add to a scrapbook page or a card! I loved handing them out!!
Hope you love them too!
