  YouTube Tuesday-Pirate Themed Kids Crafts

Hello!  It's Kim from Katydid Cards.  I'm really excited about the videos I'm sharing today as they are about crafts you can make with your kids...or someone else's kids, for that matter!  In fact, they look like so much fun, you might just want to make them yourself!

Since our Blog Hop this month was. "A Pirate's Life for Me", I looked for crafts with that theme.

First up, a video featuring a pirate ship project:

Every pirate ship needs pirates, so this next video show how to transform clothespin into a caption and his best mateys!

So shiver me timbers and yo ho ho, now it's time for me to go...

But before I do, I want to remind you there's still time for you to enter our monthly challenge:

One winner, picked at random, will receive a prize from our sponsor, Sasayaki Glitter

If you'd like to link-up or want additional information, just click here.  Our team also picks their three favorites who will receive a badge for their blog or social media!

  DT Day With Sasayaki Glitter

Hi, Sue from Sue's Paper Crafts today is my day to show off what I've made using this month's sponsor's image.

We have a brand new sponsor this month SasayakiGlitter they have some really cute digi images.

I won't be having a bon voyage party but I will be leaving on a jet plane to go visit my kids in Japan soon....haven't set the date yet, waiting to get my passport first.

I used Cricut's, "Pack Your Bags", "Summer Vacation" and cut into a real map for my icons. I put him on an Action Wobble so that he can fly off into the wild blue yonder whenever he feels like it.

  DT: Celebrate

Dear scrappers,
This is Veronica from Vicky's Scrapping Passion sharing with you another card that I made using the digital image, Pirate Shy from this month's sponsor:

I used supplies from the Hero monthly die/stamps club (inks, stencils, the vellum, and specialty paper) and CTMH papers and inks. I also used some Stamping Up inks.

The stickers are also from CTMH. I used a leftover cardstock, which I had treated using TH solutions to create a faux patina effect and metallic inks. The palm trees were fuzzy cut and the little pirate was colored with watercolor pencils and CTMH blending pen.

For the inside, I used also an sticker sentiment from CTMH.

I hope you enjoyed this card and decide to join us in this month's challenge:

I have lots of friends graduating this month so what better way to celebrate than with a card decorated with Miss Kate's files!
I used this cap and diploma from the Graduation Day Set and made them print n cuts.

  Question of the Week

It's that time again!!
Remember.. I want you to answer the question
 in the comment section too!
AND
if you have a question to ask for an upcoming week add that in the comments too, if you ask a question and I use it you will win a prize!!

Here is today's question!!
Do you ever sketch a layout or card before starting?

Angela-I don't...not for any reason other than I'm too lazy for the extra work !

Veronica-I used to sketch my layouts a while ago, but now, my thoughts runs so much quicker than my sketch pad 😂, so I just try to play catch up and let it be what I becomes...
Marji-Never. I have a really hard time following a sketch. I just lay things out before gluing until I get the look I like.

Kim- Never. My cards are always an evolution...rarely do they end up being what I had initially pictured in my mind's eye.

Sue-No, I just get to work.

Connie-Actually I have. Many times. It really helps me decide what I am going to create. Especially with my layouts..

Got a question for us...don't be shy, ask us!!
