Hello everyone! It's Kim from Katydid Cards with another YouTube Tuesday.
Today I'm sharing a video featuring "Stella", one of Bugaboo Stamps signature characters. I have to admit, I love Stella and if you check her out at the Bugaboo store, you'll see that she speaks for a lot of women of "a certain age" when you're old enough to say it like it is!
There's nothing earth-shattering about the making of this card but she does mention she printed this image one and colored it. Then she copied it and the copies were pretty good, saving her from having to color each image individually. When you're making multiples of cards, this is a big time saver.
I know I'm going try this and I hope you do, too. I also hope you will join us in our monthly challenge. This month, a color challenge.
And here's the color palette for you to use:
Our sponsor this month is Bugaboo Stamps and one lucky winner, picked at random, will receive a gift code to their store!

Hi folks. It's Kim from Katydid Cards sharing a great video with you today.
I don't know about you, but I find it so frustrating to spend hours making a craft project and can't wait to share it on my blog only to find out the pictures I took are dark, blurry or don't show that project in the way I had hoped.
I found this video by Leo Kowal of Dreaming Tree and found it extremely helpful, so I'm hoping you will get some great pointers from it as well.
Here you go:
If your picture taking improves after watching this video, I sure hope you will share your positive outcome here in the comments section and give Leo a thumb's up, too.

Dina makes this look easy, but I'm still a work in progress. Practice makes perfect, though, and I can't think of better files to work with than Treasure Box Designs.

Hi! It's Kim from Katydid Cards with you to share another YouTube video!
Since many of us are preparing for for back to school (and all that entails), I thought I would share a video on teacher gift ideas on a budget...from a teacher. Who better to tell you what teachers might need and appreciate.
She talks about them being great for Christmas and the end of the school year, but there's nothing wrong with gifting the teacher at the start of the school year and getting things off on the right foot (yep, bribery).
I hope you like this video and please do let us know if you make something you saw here. We love that kind of feedback!

Who knew adding salt or bleach to your water could create cool effects. And you'll never confine Saran Wrap to the kitchen again.
I hope you try these and, if you do, don't forget to enter the challenge this month. You can find all the details here.
