I Love the Rain

Hello my crafty friends!
Thought I'd pop in today to share an easy layout I created using some fun paper and my Kiwi Lane Border Templates Of course!

Who says you can't have fun at Disneyland in the rain? We love it! No crowds. No lines. And it never lasts for very long. It really was a fun day. Now let's hope that by sharing this we can encourage our weather to take a hint. I am tired of the 100 degrees plus in October!

The paper I used came from my days of Storytellers Club. I still have tons of their kits and paper. I sure do miss them! The clouds and sun were cut directly from the pattern on one side of this paper and then I used the other side and the middle part for the Kiwi Borders (Scallops 2 and Bracket 1).
The rest is just cardstock, some clear beads, and some ABC stickers from CM.

I can't thank you enough for checking out my project. It means the world to me and I hope you truly enjoyed it. May it inspire you to create something wonderful!   Scrappy Hugs!

LoveBug Creations Friday

Hello Lovebugs!!
Connie here with a new project to share using my favorite LoveBug Creations Products!!
On Tuesday I posted page one of a layout I created for Die Cuttin' Divas. I promised you I'd be back with page two and well here I am. And best yet I adorned it with some delicious Red Sheer Ribbon from the LoveBug Christmas Release Christmas Candy.

Isn't it cute? I tied it in a bow and hung one of the snowflakes from it with a tiny white safety pin. Love the way the sheer ribbon glimmers!!

And here are both of the pages together just in case you missed Monday's post or for those of you that saw the post but would like to see them together.

I can't thank you enough for checking out my project. It means the world to me and I hope you truly enjoyed it. May it inspire you to create something wonderful!

Die Cuttin' Divas #150 Winter Activity

Hello Divas!!
Time for a new challenge and a new post from us at the Die Cuttin' Divas Design Team!!
Our Diva challenge this week is #150 Winter Activity.  It's been cold enough out there that I am sure we all have lots of chilly winter activities planned or already completed these past few weeks. So this one should be easy!

This is my family playing in the snow back in 2010. I wish I had current photos of us in the snow, but that is the last time I have seen snow. The downside to living in So Cal I guess. I love the vibrant red with the blues and white. I knew I needed to finally scrap these pics when I heard this week's theme!!

I cut both the snowflakes and the title on my Cameo using SCAL. The font is called Snap and the snowflakes are actually on the Scal software. I used a gorgeous sparkle paper for them and in real life it really pops.

Other items used:
Clara Lane Border from Kiwi Lane Designs
Storytellers Club Kit
AC Cardtstock
pop dots

Come on back in a day or two to see page two and the finished 2 page layout!

Be sure to check out our other amazing Diva projects at Die Cuttin' Divas.

I can't thank you enough for checking out my project. It means the world to me and I hope you truly enjoyed it. May it inspire you to create something wonderful!   Scrappy Hugs!

And remember you only have a few more days to enter my personal challenge this month, Time After Time! Hurry!

Rumple Ribbon Wednesday

Hello fellow lovebugs!!
Connie here with a new layout to share!!

I am finally getting caught up on my layouts for 2010.
Here is one for Christmas featuring fabulous Rumple Ribbon in Simply White.

I used the Rumple Ribbon as a border around the middle two photos to help offset them from the red background and added some red brads poked right through the ribbon for some added fun.

I can't thank you enough for checking out my project. It means the world to me and I hope you truly enjoyed it. May it inspire you to create something wonderful!

Rumple Ribbon Wednesday

If you are here for Wednesdays Winners Please Click Here...

Hello My Fellow LoveBugs!!!
It's my first post on Wednesdays here at LBC featuring Rumple Ribbon!!
I am so excited!! Who loves this ribbon? I DO!!!

Today I created a simple one page layout and used Simply Red Rumple Ribbon to help accent on of the corners of a photo. This photo had a red light in the background and a lot of empty black space so a pretty red bow was the perfect touch!!

I just wanted to show off this really pretty flower too!!

I tied the bow using a bow maker and tucked the lose ends under the photo creating a photo corner out of ribbon. (Kind of!)

I can't thank you enough for checking out my project. It means the world to me and I hope you truly enjoyed it. May it inspire you to create something wonderful!

My VERY Wicked Project

So excited to be in my very first new release and blog hop for LoveBug Creations. So thanks so much for joining us! I love to create just about anything but you'll soon see that scrapbooking is my true passion. So I created for this hop a Halloween Layout of my kids from 2010 using a Storytellersclub Kit, some cardstock, and of course some of my fav NEW LoveBug releases.

 Page One Up Close...
We all decided to be Pirates this year. So cheesy but fun!

 Page two Close Up...
Kind of sad for me because this was the last year my oldest trick or treated.

In case you hadn't noticed, YES, that is the new Mama Mesh behind my border. Isn't it the coolest? It really gives this that extra touch!! I love Mama Mesh!

And for added fun you just can't go wrong with the always awesome rumple ribbon!
Here, I am using  Harvest Moon across the top of the photos. I stamped the ribbon using versa mark black ink and a regular acrylic stamp. It turned out so SPOOKY!! You have to try it!

I hope you loved my layout and that it inspired you to create something wicked of your own! I invite you all to please become followers of my blog (in case you are not already) and please join in my monthly challenges. I love making new scrappy friends!

Up next is the wickedly talented Dorcas

Throwback Thursdays

Sorry I know it is Friday! Yesterday the boys started back to school so the day was a little hectic around here. But none the less I am here with another fun flashback!
Thought it would be fun to showcase a layout of my boys both starting school for the first time. My oldest was going in to 2nd and my youngest was going to preschool for the first time ever!

Seems like so long ago!

This layout features a kit from Storytellersclub (my sponsor for the challenge this month).

 How quickly they grow up!

This photo was  taken yesterday. My oldest is now a sophomore and my youngest in 7th grade! Sigh! Miss them as little kids!! They are now young men!

Thanks for this trip down memory lane! Wishing everyone a fabulous school year!

Happy Crafting and Scrappy Hugs,

The Tawk Show

Yes, you read that title right. LOL!
A couple years ago Fran Drescher had a very short lived daytime talk show called "The Tawk Show". I got some free tickets to the taping and took along two of my friends for a day of fun.
We found the show to be very interesting and honestly were not surprised it was canceled. But we had a great time and love the "Nanny" so it was totally worth the experience!
Anyways here is my layout for your viewing pleasure.

I used a sketch provided by Page Maps and a kit from Storytellersclub along with some bazzill cardstock.
Here's the sketch:

Hope you all enjoyed my creation! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Be sure to join us this weekend for the Red White and Blue Blog Hop!!
