Monthly Challenge #19 Cupid's Arrow

Hello my crafty friends!
January just flew on by and boy it was freezing cold.
And now it's time for the month of Groundhog Day, Arbor Day, and Love!
Time for a new Monthly challenge here at Connie Can Crop. Be sure to check back Wednesday to see who my big winner for January is!!

My Challenge this month:
Cupid's Arrow
This month is all about LOVE! But adding a heart to your creation is just too easy so instead I want you to be sure to include Cupid's Arrow somewhere on your project. That's it!!
It can be on your paper, a stamp, an embellishment like a diecut or even a brad.

Please create one layout, card, or other project. Your layout can be single page or double page. You may use any other products you wish. When you are finished with your project please post it here in this thread.

Please remember I will only count two entries per person. (Just to be fair!)

Entries are due by Friday, February 28th at 11:59 pm.

I will draw one lucky winner from all entries and they will receive an awesome $15 shopping spree with Scraptastical Kreations. Kristy has the cutest SVG files!!

You can visit their Shop here and
follow them on Facebook here.

AND don't forget the winner gets
a custom blinkie for you to display on your own blog!! YAY!

You need to link your project up below using Mr. Linky. You have until midnight Feb. 28th to link it up.
I will draw one random winner. My winner will not be based on skill or talent, but based on just completing the challenge. Sorry but I can not ship to other countries. I would still love for you to play. However if you win, I may ask that you pay postage for the shipping charges.

Hello Lovebugs!!
Connie here with a new project to share using my favorite LoveBug Creations Products!!
On Tuesday I posted page one of a layout I created for Die Cuttin' Divas. I promised you I'd be back with page two and well here I am. And best yet I adorned it with some delicious Red Sheer Ribbon from the LoveBug Christmas Release Christmas Candy.

Isn't it cute? I tied it in a bow and hung one of the snowflakes from it with a tiny white safety pin. Love the way the sheer ribbon glimmers!!

And here are both of the pages together just in case you missed Monday's post or for those of you that saw the post but would like to see them together.

I can't thank you enough for checking out my project. It means the world to me and I hope you truly enjoyed it. May it inspire you to create something wonderful!

Die Cuttin' Divas #150 Winter Activity

Hello Divas!!
Time for a new challenge and a new post from us at the Die Cuttin' Divas Design Team!!
Our Diva challenge this week is #150 Winter Activity.  It's been cold enough out there that I am sure we all have lots of chilly winter activities planned or already completed these past few weeks. So this one should be easy!

This is my family playing in the snow back in 2010. I wish I had current photos of us in the snow, but that is the last time I have seen snow. The downside to living in So Cal I guess. I love the vibrant red with the blues and white. I knew I needed to finally scrap these pics when I heard this week's theme!!

I cut both the snowflakes and the title on my Cameo using SCAL. The font is called Snap and the snowflakes are actually on the Scal software. I used a gorgeous sparkle paper for them and in real life it really pops.

Other items used:
Clara Lane Border from Kiwi Lane Designs
Storytellers Club Kit
AC Cardtstock
pop dots

Come on back in a day or two to see page two and the finished 2 page layout!

Be sure to check out our other amazing Diva projects at Die Cuttin' Divas.

I can't thank you enough for checking out my project. It means the world to me and I hope you truly enjoyed it. May it inspire you to create something wonderful!   Scrappy Hugs!

And remember you only have a few more days to enter my personal challenge this month, Time After Time! Hurry!

For my Project Love I decided to create a Valentine for someone special in my life! I really tried hard to use up some of my stash I have been hoarding for years!
I also used gorgeous Rumple Ribbon from LBC in the new color "JADED" and a new Beautiful Bloom!! They are the perfect additions for any card!!
My papers are all scraps from my stash and the blue polka dots are actually washi tape. The chipboard are from K and Co. And the bling are from my I-rock. Oh and I added some white liquid pearl to the center of my beautiful bloom. Isn't it pretty? (Love these Kimi!!)

Here's our loveable lineup in case you get lost along the way.

And now let the love take you to Dawn Mercedes!!

Connie here with a new project to share using my favorite LoveBug Creations Products!!

I really enjoyed creating this fun candle for a friend of mine. She has a therapy dog named Daltrey and he is a Labradoodle. He is such a character.

I wanted to create an image that looked similar to him so I traced an image I found online with my Silhouette and cut it out with vinyl. I also found this cute saying online and recreated it and cut it out in vinyl.

The LBC Halloween Grunge Rumple Ribbon was the perfect color combination for the colors of vinyl I used. I added a pretty flower and pearl on the lid to finish it off. I think it turned out pretty awesome. Don't you?
