Welcome
to the Mother Goose Blog Hop
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
How I wonder what you are.
I have always loved Nursery Rhymes. From Old Mother Hubbard and Old King Cole to Jack and Jill and Humpty Dumpty. So many amazing childhood memories!! I am so happy to be a part of this very special blog hop. Thank you Lisa for putting it together.
You should have arrived from Jessica.
But if you would like to start at the beginning head on over to Lisa's blog.
When I was a little girl of just 3 years old I carried a Nursery Rhyme book with me every where I went. I just adored those short stories and had to have my book! My mom told me I used to sit in the shopping cart and "read" every single story out of my book and that all the people in the store were so amazed at how smart I was, that I could read at such a young age. Funny thing is I couldn't actually read, I had just memorized every one of those nursery rhymes word for word and still know them all by heart today!
My project I created for today is a gift bag for a new baby.
I love creating my own unique gift bags and these files from Miss Kate Cuttables along with this adorable paper line from Prima was the perfect fit for this blog hop.
I wanted to incorporate as many of the patterns in this line as I could, so Kiwi Lane templates made it very easy to add layers of paper.
My little cow is attached with an action wobble and he actually moves back and forth, jumping over that moon! Super cute!!
I cut out a few more of these images from Miss Kate because they are so darn cute! I plan on creating another bag and a couple of cards. Maybe a layout too!!
Thanks for checking out my project! If you haven't read Mother Goose's Nursery Rhymes you need to!! It's the perfect read for kids of all ages!! I can't wait till I have grandkids to read them too!!
