Here is this week's question:

What is your word or resolution for the NEW Year? Why?

Connie- My word is health. I want to get my life back and become healthier. This includes losing some weight but also managing my fibromyalgia and stresses. Taking better care of my whole body, mind and soul.

Daphne- I don't have a real "resolution". I am looking forward to this new year with the hope of better things. My fiancé has been sick and out of a job all 2015. He is finally better and is starting to look for a job! So I would say... I want to get back to a more "normal" life in 2016!

Angela- My word is de-stress. I want to be able to enjoy all the things my boys bring to the table....whether its bad or good. I tend to hang onto the bad a little too often and get completely stressed out.

Veronica- My new year purpose besides the whole being more healthy, excersice more, eat less carbs, being a better Mother, wife, and daughter, is to use my scrappy stash more and to buy less smile emoticon

Kim-  I don't have a word. I have a phrase and that is, "Be the best me I can be." It's an all encompassing mantra and I try to make every decision by first mentally asking myself is that the decision the "best me" would make?

For my project I created a layout. I wanted to do two things.

1. Use some of my old Scrapbooking stuff that I have had for years!!

2. Make a layout about me and my goals for the New Year. (I try to do this every year)

So here it is....

The paper and diecuts on this layout have to be over 5 years old. Talk about hoarding!

I look pretty good in this photo only because I just got back from Greece and I was refreshed and alive! Unfortunately I lost that glow! But in 2016 I hope to gain that back!!

Design Team: Handmade Gift Holder

It's Veronica from Vicky's Scrapping Passion with a card to hold the handmade gift I made for my daughter.

BTW, We had an amazing sponsor this month for Connie's blog hop last week! Betsy Flot is giving one of  her awesome book's, Progressions of Expressions Volume 2.

I made this charm holder for my daughter's handmade gift inspired by the ones made by Jody from Cre8n' Memories. 

Connie, sorry, I saw this idea too late otherwise I would have sent you one ;-)

 I made some changes to the original idea to adjust it to a regular size card and to hide the chain, I made a pocket. I remembered a chain holder I saw a while ago and made the straight cuts coming out of the punched holes to insert the chain without destroying the card, as you can appreciate bellow:

I used some old CTMH papers (Believe) and the charm/glass topper are also from CTMH. You can get similar products in Connie's CTMH website.

Hello my Crafty Friends!!

Connie here ready to share this  beautiful Tri Fold Card Cut File I created using a Paper Crafting World file.

Do you remember the Classic Frosty Cartoon that is played every year around Christmas? I have watched and loved Frosty ever since I can remember so when I saw this file by Paper Crafting World I knew I had to create something cute with it.

Frosty is adorable!! And so is that sweet little cardinal sitting on his shoulder. I just loved cutting him out and making him come to life on my Happy New Year Card.
