Snowman Tag- Cardz TV

Hello my crafty friends!

It's Connie here today to share my DT project for Cardz TV!

Today is the start of a new Cardz TV's Anything Goes Challenge and I decided to get a jump start on some Holiday tags. Up first this month is this cutie patootie!!

I used Mary's stamp set called Winter Cheer. The snowman image is one of the stamps on Mary's set. I used my water colors to highlight the snowman. This was a first for me..I love it!

Here's a little trick on layering the different colors on top of each other without having those black lines show through..I use washi tape and place it over the area I do not want ink. Then I ink my stamp, peel the washi off and when I stamp the image that spot is left blank.
Try it! You will be so glad you did!!

Design Team: White Christmas Layout

Pin It This is Veronica from Vicky's Scrapping Passion sharing with you this layout I made for my family's first (and only) white Christmas Day:

Too bad the the picture doesn't make justice to the satin finish of the pages and rhinestones bling.

The left side open up:

The Right side has and insert for more pictures:

I used an sketch my dear Tammi Sanders' Photofull old class.

I used printed paper from K.1, which came in a Paperworks kit of the month, the same with other embellishments.

I use the same file from my first card: Little-Penguin-Winter--winter-bench_p_2383 from our sponsor Bugaboo Stamps, which I colored with Chameleon alcohol markers

BTW, I used the Jingle Bells rhinestone sentiment and rhinestones, which I received yesterday as a surprise from Connie's Crafty Cart:

Big thank you Connie, I loved my surprise goodies :-)

Design Team: Handmade Gift Holder

Happy New Year Eve!!!

It's Veronica from Vicky's Scrapping Passion with a card to hold the handmade gift I made for my daughter.

BTW, We had an amazing sponsor this month for Connie's blog hop last week! Betsy Flot is giving one of  her awesome book's, Progressions of Expressions Volume 2.

I made this charm holder for my daughter's handmade gift inspired by the ones made by Jody from Cre8n' Memories
Connie, sorry, I saw this idea too late otherwise I would have sent you one ;-)

I made some changes to the original idea to adjust it to a regular size card and to hide the chain, I made a pocket. I remembered a chain holder I saw a while ago and made the straight cuts coming out of the punched holes to insert the chain without destroying the card, as you can appreciate bellow:

I hope you enjoy this fun and easy project and visit me to see more pictures of the other handmade gift I made for my secret sister.

I used some old CTMH papers (Believe) and the charm/glass topper are also from CTMH. You can get similar products in Connie's CTMH website.

Happy New Year Eve!!!

Connie here ready to share this  beautiful Tri Fold Card Cut File I created using a Paper Crafting World file.

This week I  created the cutest Santa ever! He is perfect for adding your favorite Christmas goodie inside and giving away.

I added some pop dots to his button and his mustache so they stand out.
Embossing his beard and mustache gave the paper a curly texture, perfect for Santa!

12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop

First off HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
Welcome to the 12 days of Christmas blog hop hosted by Lisa from Honey Bearz Designs! This hop will run from 11/24-12/5 and will be full of fun Christmas ideas and inspiration to get you ready for the holiday season! Such an awesome way to get you inspired to make some holiday cards or finish up some layouts, maybe even some Christmas decor! Sit back and join us for all 12 days and be inspired! Today is day 3 and I am thankful to be the guest designer!

For my projects I thought I would share some really cute make n take projects I made at a crop over the weekend. These will all make super great stocking stuffers or gifts for your mail person, UPS person, hair dresser, or anyone else you'd like to give a little something to.

This is a gorgeous tag using paper by Prima, some twine to tie it, a burlap bow, Prima ink, and it's stamped with a Believe stamp. Then you can tuck away a chocolate treat or a gift card, heck even a few bucks!!
This clear pillow box is adorned with Prima paper and a gorgeous red Prima leaf. We added some jingle bells and tied it off with some white netting. You can fill it with candy, a gift card, or cash!
And finally this 6" clear tube is filled with Hershey Kisses. It's decorated with Prima paper, some twine and netting tied around, a tiny wooden angel dangling from it that I inked with Prima ink to match and a bunch of berries. So easy yet so pretty!
I hope I gave you a few ideas to help inspire you for some quick and easy holiday gifts!!

Head on over to Madge next!

Line Up for Day 3 in case you get lost =)
