Guest Designer- Rebecca (with photos!!)

She has created a wonderful project for us today featuring bling to go along with the "Anything Goes" monthly Challenge.

Hi Everyone, My name is Rebecca from Stamp and Scrap Studio and I am so happy to be a guest designing for you on Connie Can Crop. For the Anything Goes Challenge I decided to create a St. Patrick's Day layout. I used the Miss Kate Cuttables St. Patrick's file to create the title and the Rainbow and pot of gold. The cardstock used is all from Close To My heart, I used topiary, honey, whisper, and Black. For the patterned paper I used a Green polka dot in the Zoe paper pack from Close To My Heart.
I love using the SVG files from Miss Kate Cuttables

I created a sweet birthday card fit for a Princess using a cut file
 from our Sponsor, Paper Crafting World. You can purchase the file HERE


I removed the bag of candy from the cut file and added a Cricut Gift Box instead. I thought it made it look more Birthday with the present.


After looking at her I realize I messed up on her skirt. It looks funky! That is because I put it on upside down! DOH!! Oh well! Live and learn! See I make mistakes too!! And yes I will be tearing that apart and fixing it!

Design Team ~ Easter Bag

For my project, I created my niece a cute little Easter bag! I found these adorable bags in Target...They already had the bunnies face outlined on them. I added the glitter bow with pink glitter HTV and I added her name to the back with a matching solid pink HTV.

Miss Kate Cuttables March Challenge

It's time for a new challenge over on the Miss Kate's Facebook Group.

March's Challenge is "GREEN."

The requirements for the challenge is to follow the theme of the month and use a Miss Kate Cuttables' file in your creation, including any/all freebies you have.
I created this adorable Turtle Shape card for a child's birthday!
He's so stinkin cute!!

Question of the Week

This week's question comes from me...This week I am turning another year older! What would you like to do to celebrate your next birthday?

Connie-  I will be at a board meeting on my birthday. And the more I think about it the more I am bummed out! All because they couldn't have the meeting without me. Not that birthdays are ever a big thing in my house. Not mine anyways. I would love to have a big party and invite everyone I know! But that will probably never happen. Instead I am taking off the following weekend for a scrap retreat with the girls. Probably my favorite way to celebrate!

Daphne-   I will be 50 this year and for my birthday I want to spend the day at Disney World with the love of my life and then spend the weekend with all my kids. Being surrounded by my family is what makes me happy.

Angela- I would love a day off from kid activities! The last few years have been celebrated either on some type of field or at the kids school for something or other. I just want a day to veg on the couch.

Veronica- I completely agree with Angela. A day for myself would be nice. No driving 100 miles around, not serving people, not answering my phone or texts... uhmmm nice

Kim- I wouldn't mind a day crafting...when everything works exactly as I want it to...now that's a real fantasy!
