It's Kim from Katydid Cards here with another YouTube Tuesday video.  I know...it's Monday, but sometimes that's just how the scheduling works!  

Whether you call it 4^th of July, Independence Day or July 4^th, it’s time to get ready for festivities ranging from barbecues and family gatherings, to parades, concerts and fireworks.  I have a video for you today with all sorts of crafts you can make for your events:

I created the first page, my cover page, for my road trip album featuring photos of us moving my mom from California to Colorado. I saw this idea on Pinterest and knew I had to go with it!! It was so great!

The first thing I had to do was print a map of the western US out from my computer and enlarge it a few times to get it to fit a 12x12 sheet the way I wanted it to.

Then I cut each state out and placed them on my background paper. I chose my patterned paper for each state and began tracing an hand cutting each one.

Here is my finished map of the states! Eeek!! I love this!! Don't you?

Now to finish my layout!

I am beyond thrilled with the way this came out and I hope you like it too!

I'm in a craft swap group and each month, there are a few different themes you can choose to participate in. The card I'm showing you was a color theme, and it was a teal/turquoise color.

I used a "book of cards" that I just bought from Tuesday Morning...it had super fun pattern's/colors in it! I added twine and buttons. The hot air balloon, sentiment and frame the sentiment is on is from Jaded Blossom.

It's time for a new challenge over on the Miss Kate's Facebook Group.

June's Challenge is "DAD."

#1 Dad Race Car Card- PCW Day

Hello my crafty friends!!

This is Connie with Connie Can Crop and I am super excited to be posting as a designer for Paper Crafting World. I am so excited to be able to share these adorable cut and digital files with you.

Today I am sharing one of the NEW Father's Day Card Files, Card #1 Dad Card with Printables!!

I fell in love with this card as soon as I saw it! No wonder why, it has so  many great layers!

I added a small eyelet to the tag and used my Cuttlebug to emboss a pattern on the green paper strip.

I also added some pop dots under the car for dimension and some mini staples to the green!

I used the negative square cutouts from the front to create a border on the inside! My sentiments both come from CTMH. The front stamped image is from Holiday Tags and the inside image is from The Best Dad Ever.
