100 Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop

Welcome to My Cricut Craft Room's
100 Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop
You should have started at http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/ if not please start at the beginning

My first project was something I created for a swap at StorytellersClub. We were asked to make "she dolls" and they needed to look like us and tell you our name and something we like. It's kind of ironic because I was planning on doing a paper doll for my blog title so this swap was perfect for this month. Earlier this week I posted my new blog header and today I share with you my "She Doll".
Of course I used the Everyday Paperdolls Cartridge. And I cut my lil gal out at 4" tall. The little lions on her t-shirt and the paper actually came from StorytellersClub. Hope you think she is cute and what do you think...does she look like me?

My next project was something kindy of quirky that I thought up. While I have been recovering from my accident I have received many wonderful cards. I realized I have no get well cards in my pile of cards to send out and decided what better time to make some. So here it is my "Feeling Blue" Card.
I started out by using my Cricut Mini and a few pens to create my sentiments. If you have never played with the pens please be sure to check out my video, listed under videos of course. It really does give a cool effect. After writing out the bold teal letters, I went back over it with a fine tip black. (check out my video for more info)

I used Accent Essentials to cut out the Starburst at 4" and the scallop border at .55". The font I chose was Type Candy (sorry the font shown above is from This N That). I cut the front sentiment at .5" and the inside at 1" and .5".

Can you tell who is going to be our main star on the front of this card? You guessed it! SULLEY! I used the Best of Pixar to create my Sulley at 4".
And here it is..my finished card. I added glossy modge podge to the front because I love the effect. It doesn't photograph well so this photo was taken without flash. Sorry it's the best I could do.
