#178 ABC's and 123's

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog invites you to create a project with your Cricut using a letter or a number.

Here is my project for you:
A spooky (not really) card featuring Mama Mesh and the Cricut Cart CM Traveler. I also used the Mar-Kits Pens from Cri-Kits (mini sharpies and holder) with my Cricut to outline the title word before I cut it out. This technique helps the word stand out, sort of like inking it without the mess.

Hello fellow Cricuteers!!

Heat Wave

We invite you to create a project using your Cricut that features your favorite way to beat the heat.

Be sure to upload your entry on the FCCB challenge blog.

Here's what I have created for this challenge:

I created a two page layout of my boys swimming and goofing around with their younger cousin Collin!! This pics were perfect for what I had in mind.
The Paper line I chose was Fancy Pants Beach Babe so there was a lot of pink in it. Just don't that to the boys! LOL!
My borders were created using borders by Kiwi Lane Designs. Gotta say I just love them! I used the Brackets and Madison Border Patterns on this Layout.

All my Cricut cut were made with Crocs Rule Lite Cartridge! It is super cute!!
This little matey is called "swim" and I cut him at a height of 3.5" and he is 4 layers.

Here we have "swimsuit" and he is a bit shy. Has to wear a body suit!! He is also cut at 3.5" and has 4 layers.

Now my title Wild Summer is two different welded cuts and cut at 2" super easy to do. It too has 4 layers. This last fellow or fella is "pool" and he is at 3.7". Now his swimming pool was much larger than this but I really didn't need it that big and wasting so much room so I trimmed it down to fit above my photo.

 Other items used:

Paper Scraps

Cricut Carts: Cricut  CM Traveler for the sun on page 2

Rub ons by Fancy Pants to match

Pen for journaling

I can't thank you enough for checking out my project. It means the world to me and I hope you truly enjoyed it. May it inspire you to create something wonderful!

Challenge #146
January 28th - Time Flies
Include a clock or something pertaining to time
We invite you to create any project featuring a cricut cartridge cut that has to do with time.
Be sure to upload your entry on the FCCB.
Here's what I have created for this challenge:

When I saw the Cricut Craft Room Seasonal Characters I knew I had to create a layout with Baby New Year and Father Time. They are super cute. Don't you agree?

Close Up Page 1

Close Up Page 2

You might recognize a couple of other Cricut Carts on this layout too.
For my title I used Create A Critter 2. No welding invloved! The Happy New Year title is super easy to cut and use. And my big Clock Tower was created using the Creative Memories Traveler Cartridge. I simply cut off the very top part of it to make it look like this.

I also fancy cut some of the orange designs in the patterned paper and pop dotted them around the layout. Kind of like special snowflakes!
Products used to create this layout:
StorytellersClub printed paper
Bazzill and cardtsock
pop dots
Blue Brad on clock

I didn't add photos on this yet but don't worry I will. I have about 4 years of catching up on layouts to do. LOL!
I hope that you have enjoyed my project as much as I enjoyed sharing it with you. I love receiving comments and new followers. It means so much to me! So please feel free to drop me a note and follow my blog for more inspiration, giveaways, and tips.

We invite you to create any project featuring a cricut cartridge cut that is masculine.
That's it! Easy peasy..right?
Be sure to upload your entry on the FCCB.

Here's what I have created for this challenge:

I chose to use Creative Memories Traveler Cartridge for both the tent and the title. This cart has so many awesome designs as well as several font choices. Don't know where to buy it?....ask me!!
I made the tent look like there is 3 layers but it is really only two. I used my copics to add that 3rd color. Wala!

This is my young man attending his last Boy Scout Camp before he decided he didn't want to be a scout anymore. It was a sad day when he made the decision. I was his leader all through cubscouts and he truly loved being a scout. But I guess when they enter high school they find new dreams and ways to spend their time. For my son, it's all about the Band and Drumline, and I couldn't be more proud of him!

I hope that you have enjoyed my project as much as I enjoyed sharing it with you. I love receiving comments and new followers. It means so much to me! So please feel free to drop me a note and follow my blog for more inspiration, giveaways, and tips.
