I know it's only March!! LOL! But if you know me I like to scrap Christmas whenever!!

 

 Today I created a simple one page layout for my family Christmas photo 2010.

 

 

I know it may be hard to see but I used my Sew Easy Circle Maker with a Stamper to create the zig zag circles.

I used the "Vintage Santa" file from Creative Kuts to create this delightful paper piecing

Easter is right around the corner! And we are definitely seeing Spring around my house. I love it although my sinuses not so much!

I used the file "Life's Pleasures" to create these two layouts.

Monthly Challenge #8 Happy Birthday

Did you know my Birthday is coming up?
Well it is!! March 9th! I can't believe we have to put another candle on my cake!! LOL!
So I thought hey why not let you all celebrate with me?
So this month let's make a birthday project and include two of my favorite things to add to projects.

Swim Like a Fish!

 

I used so many cartridges on this layout! Probably the most I've ever used on one layout before. Let's take a closer look.

 

Page One

 

My title used 3 fonts. The banners are from Happy Graduation. I used my Gypsy to delete the letters that were in them and replaced the letters with Nate's ABCs font. The "like a" was made using Opposites Attract.

 

Page Two

 

The journaling box was cut with CM's This and That Cartridge. I also used the same cartridge to cut out the little fish.

 

 

This scuba boy was cut with Life's a Beach.

 

And this one was cut with H2O.

 

Again my sweet little fish were cut with This n That.

Now let's see what I have created for this great hop...

 

 My oldest used to be a Boy Scout. One of the trips they took was to go race professional go carts at K1 Speedway here in Southern California. I'm really behind in my scrapping so this layout was the perfect excuse to join this Blog Hop. So glad I did!!

 

 I'm going to be honest with you...I could have cut out the title, flag and race car with my Cricut or my eCraft but many years ago (before I owned these machines) I purchased these die cuts from an Expo. I have been hoarding them and finally pulled them out and put them to use. The company that created them was called Scrap It, Keep It, Remember It.

 

Now on the second page I finally busted out my "New" Creative Memories Border System with the Banner Border Punch. I love this punch system! You have gotta check it out!

This design was inspired by a Scrapbooking kit I found on the Internet, but I am not sure which company. When I figure that out I will be sure to give them the credit.
