This week I asked the question...  I want to know...

Do you ever recycle or repurpose cards you received?

Connie- I save many of my cards I get that are handmade. I like to use them in my layouts. I also think it is cool to pass them on to others so they may enjoy their beauty. Do you do that? Do you think it is wrong to send someone else's card to another person? I always wonder if I am breaking a crafting code of ethics. I'd love to know.

Daphne-  I do repurpose the front of Christmas cards sometimes. But never any others.

Angela- All the time. I don't always have a card I need on hand so I use some that I've gotten from different swaps I've been in or have received. My grandmother taught me that little one smile emoticon just cut the top off the folded card and write on the back of it!

Veronica- Only the ones I had made and don't really like. Like my first attend to make them with my cricut.

Kim-  Never. There are some I would llike to recycle and I do keep them for that purpose, but forget I have them when it comes time to make a new card.

Angela has been an online friend of mine for years and she is one of my design team members so of course I wanted to help her celebrate! And what better way than by making her a cute card with a monkey to go along with her 3 crazy monkeys at home!!

I used the Party Animal File by Miss Kate Cuttables along with some cardstock and paper I had on hand! This card really didn't need much else except a cute sentiment on the inside and a stamp!

Happy Birthday Angela!! I hope you have an amazing day! Thank you for allowing me to celebrate with you!

I'm in the mood for love! And this file, My Lil' Love Bandit, just stole my heart from Paper Crafting World.

These two bandits are the cutest critters ever! And I just love that they hold the key to someone's heart!

 I always add pop dots for some dimension and ink most of my pieces.

Miss Kate Cuttables Challenge

It's time for a new challenge over on the Miss Kate's Facebook Group.

February's Challenge is "LOVE."

The requirements for the challenge is to follow the theme of the month and use a Miss Kate Cuttables' file in your creation, including any/all freebies you have.

I created this adorable Valentine's card for my hubby!

This file was super easy to make in to a shape card.

The challenge will run from the second Tuesday through the 4th Tuesday of each month.  Winners will be announced, in the group, Friday of challenge end week.

Here's a little about what Lisa used..
All of the papers were from my stash. Individual pieces from makers unknown. The skate was made with the Cricut Explore Air from the subscription (Nifty Fifties). The "Let's Skate & Celebrate" is made with the Brother Scan N Cut 2... Glitter, glue, Gelatos and Wink of Stella. Ink from Ranger Distress Inks.

This week's I asked the question... I have travel fever! LOL! So I want to know...

If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?

Connie- In a few weeks I am headed to Florida so I guess that is why I have travel fever! LOL! But it's been almost a year since I went to Greece and I really want to go back! Other than that I would like to go to Hawaii, Australia, Alaska, and Africa! Hey I'm not asking for much! LOL!

Daphne- I have a list of a few places I want to go before I die. But if I could only choose 1 it would be an African Safari. But a close second would have to be the Galápagos Islands.

Angela- Australia or Italy. I won't be picky

Veronica- Most definitively Europe. I would love to go back again.

Kim-  I truly have no desire to travel abroad these days, but if I did I think I would want to go to Ireland and stay in a thatched roof cottage and drink tea. Can you tell I'm no longer adventurous?
