Unbearably Adorable- DT Layout

It is pretty chilly in most of the country right now, so I hope everyone is staying warm and safe. There is nothing like a chilly winter day to keep you indoors. And what a better time then now to get crafty!

Today I am sharing with you a layout I created keeping in theme with this month's challenge...Beary Sweet... which you can check out here. Create something bear or sweet related and join the challenge for a chance to win a fun prize. 

My layout is of my grandson. This is the first time we put him in a shopping cart. It was quite comical trying to get the shopping cart cover on correctly. Our Little Man was having a blast laughing at the follies of his mommy and Nana. This is one of my favorite photos of him. He is just TOO CUTE....actually he's UNBEARABLY ADORABLE!!

The paper line I used is from Three Bugs In A Rug.

Hello my Crafty Friends!!

 I am super excited to be posting as a designer for Paper Crafting World today. I am so delighted to be able to share these adorable cut and digital files with you.

I created this fun winter playtime layout featuring One Cool Kid CF. It's super cute!

 I used pop dots on some of the layers to bring the characters to life!

 Added some sequins to represent snow flakes.

 The intricate details on the title are really gorgeous close up!

This cutie pie is having a blast playing in the snow and making his snowman! Now I need to go find me some snow!! LOL!

Do you feel the pressure of wanting the latest and greatest in product lines and struggle with knowing that you have tons of now "old" latest and greatest supplies that you haven't had time to use yet?

Connie- Totally not gonna lie here! LOL! I am guilty! I love the latest and greatest and I tend to have to have it all! When money allows! But if you saw my craft room you would see that I also have way too much stuff which is why I am really limiting myself this year to trying to use what I have. I do have to say having a cricut that cuts cartridges and svgs has helped in cost so much because now I spend most of money on the newest papers only!

Daphne-  I was very involved in the crafting industry for several years. I had my own company and have appeared in several DVDs. I used to want the hottest and newest things. Then I had a life changing event occur. I no longer have the money to purchase crafting supplies. I don't even look any more because it makes me sad that I can't purchase them. So I only use older supplies. I have plenty and can still do wonder things with them. You don't need the hottest and newest, you just need to use your imagination!!

Angela- I can go either way. I am limited on space since my son kicked me out of my craft room so I can't have too to much anymore wink emoticon and I have a ton now! But if it's something I really feel the need for, it will be mine!

Veronica- I get carry away many times with the newest trend, then I think of all the stuff I have hoarded since I started scrapbooking more seriously and try to shop in my closet first before buying something new. However, It is hard to resist the newest Tim Holtz or Graphic 45 products to mention a few of my weakness...

Kim-  I'm guilty of giving in to the lure of the newest tool on the block. And what I buy is directly related to the video tutorials I watch. Truth be told, I have more new things than the time to use them. Despite the fact that I do fall prey to the hype, I don't think it's necessary to have every new product to make great projects. Having less spurs imagination.

Hello everyone!  It’s Kim from Katydid Cards here today to share a “beary” cute get well card.

I thought I’d keep with this month's challenge theme and create another card featuring bears…in this case it’s a bear with a bear butt and an em”bear”rassed nurse.  I know, my bear jokes are becoming un”bear”able, so without further ado, here’s my card:

I made this card with cut files from My Scrap Chick from their Medical Bear collection, adjusting the size to suit the card.  I cut them from Basic Black, Real Red, River Rock. Soft Suede and Whisper White card stock and Marina Mist DSP from Stampin Up.  The capsule comes from the digital kit Doggie Bowser MD from Sweet Shoppe Designs.  I enlarged it…a lot…and then typed my greeting using the “Andy” font and created a Print & Cut file in my Silhouette.  I attached the capsule with an Action Wobble Spring.

I sponged the edges of the bear body parts to create dimension.  I sponged a bit of Rose Red to Nurse’s cheeks and hand colored her eyes with a Copics Black Drawing Pen and Sakura White Gel Pen. This sits on a panel of Bazzill light blue embossed with the Dots and Lines embossing folder attached to a card base of Marina Mist.

Inside is a fitting sentiment: 
I hope your insurance has better coverage!  Get Well Quick!

I thought about using, “Why do you think they call it I C U?”, but I wasn’t sure everyone would get my dry sense of humor.  Which do you like better?
