I am thankful everyday for my family and my friends. I hold them dear to my heart and couldn't live such a happy life if they were not in it! I am also thankful for this amazing hobby we share. It helps me relax when I am stressed, it helps me preserve memories of the people I love, and it allows me to reach out and inspire other people in the process! Crafting is good for the soul!!

I decided to create a Giving Thanks Layout using SVG files by Creative Kuts.
I have had this file in SVG stash for some time. It's adorable!! SO I am thankful I am finally creating this layout for you to see.

I will be saving this for this year's Thanksgiving photos. I hope I get some good ones. My silly family is the worst at taking pics when I want them to. LOL!

YouTube Tuesday-Pop Up Pumpkin Card

Hello friends!  It's Kim from Katydid Cards here to share another YouTube video with you.  Since our challenge this month is Pumpkin Spice, where your project should include a pumpkin (or use orange and brown in it), I thought you might enjoy watching how to make a pop-up pumpkin card.

Here the designer provides a brief overview of the card, the construction of which she breaks into two videos.

Here's the first video which is primarily dedicated to how to make the pattern and cut the pumpkin and stem:

And here's part two, devoted to the assembly of the pumpkin and the construction of the card:

Here's a way to make a card with a wow factor without having to have a cutting machine or dies.  Sometimes simple is better!
