Hi!  Kim from Katydid Cards here with you.  Today I have a video to complement the Home Grown Blog Hop we had earlier this month where our projects were to be garden or flower themed.

This card has a bit of a twist to it as the bouquet of flowers pops-up when you open the card.  I've got to try one of these!

Speaking of trying...how about trying out our challenge this month at Connie Can Crop.  We have a photo inspiration for you this month...you can make any sort of project you want; you just need to use this photo to influence your design in some way.

Where do you get your crafty inspiration from?

Shannon- I get most of my crafty inspiration from Pintrest. 

I click on Pintrest and I don't resurface for hours!!

 I also use Google Images but mostly Pintrest. 

Angela- Huge fan of google images!
 I love Pinterest too, but always tend go to google first.

Kim- In addition to Pinterest, 
where I waste..er..spend much time,
 I follow a number of blogs. 
I'd say Jennifer McGuire is my biggest source of inspiration,
 but a close second is Dawn Griffith.
 I'm also big into taking classes that interest me.

Sue- Sometimes I just kind of run into things
 in different places online and find things I want to try.

Marji- I usually just go with my own thoughts. If I try to copy something it rarely turns out.

Veronica- I usually get it from Pinterest, 
and CTMH idea books are also my favorites.
 But, sometimes I get a picture of something in my mind and try to get it done.

Connie- I love the Close to my Heart idea books.
I also love looking at other blogs, pinterest, and I like to google sketches.

Relaxing Lady Bug- Kitty Bee DT

Hello my crafty friends!

It's Connie here today to share a cute birthday card I created for my niece using one of Kitty Bee's digital images. The relaxing lady bug is so sweet- don't you think?

I added her on top of some lady bug paper and a red doily. Embellished the card with a resin ladybug I purchased while in Greece. The sentiment inside reads wishing a special young lady a special birthday!
